1. Yes I would agree the hotel is not perfect, the lobby and decor very attractive, we found all the staff very helpful and friendly, but the rooms are not the best i have ever stayed in, having said that we were not in it very much so i don't know why people get so worked up about rooms.

3. The location is perfect, just two blocks from grand central so easy to use the subway to get around, plus withing easy walking distance of Empire state building and Times square.

4. I was surprised at some of the negative comments here as we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and found it to be perfect - reception staff were friendly and efficient and there was plenty of information available in the hotel.
