3. There is also free Internet provided in the lobby, however sometimes busy but theres a Starbucks opposite the hotel where internet if free so if you've got a laptop, happy days.

5. Try the Russian Vodka Room across the road from the hotel on 52nd street for happy hour cocktails but get there before 5 as it fills up really quickly.

6. We booked through Thomas Cook, room only, the website would only let us book a double room but we emailed and asked for two beds and they were happy to accommodate this for no extra charge.

8. We weren't too happy when the first morning we were fast asleep and some strange guy walks into our room at 8am because the front desk had given him our room and room key as they thought it was vacant.
