1. There is plenty of space for unpacking and a safe in the room that allows you to use your own code, which I found very comforting, especially since traveling alone.

2. I was in town to run the Miami Marathon and wanted to be able to enjoy the sun, be in a location close to the expo, get plenty of rest and have a clean hotel (which I'm told is hard to find on a beach w/out paying very high prices).
