1. Air con ice cold, rooms clean and no real issues with noise either which we were initially worried about.

2. I was there for three nights, the room was dirty and we and a incredible ac noise from the restaurent and cooking odours.

3. Had an amazing stay at the Strand, stayed in the retro building that was very secure and slept in room 405near the back , helped keep the noise down a bit, but i have been known to sleep thru a hurricane and a earthquake before so no real problems with noise.

4. If you stay in this building be sure to bring ear plugs , the noise from the Clevelander is very loud thumpging bass till 4-5am.
