3. Checkin very prompt as was checkout , should have made more use of the rooftop pool, no comments as far as hidden charges that have been mentioned in other reviews, found no evidence of this whatsoever, Staff helpful and polite.

4. Had an amazing stay at the Strand, stayed in the retro building that was very secure and slept in room 405near the back , helped keep the noise down a bit, but i have been known to sleep thru a hurricane and a earthquake before so no real problems with noise.
