1. Everyone was friendly, smiled and were honestly happy to help.

We went to the lobby to have the staff recommend authentic Cuban cuisine restaurants and were pleased with their selections; we asked them to print out our boarding passes since our computer did not have a printer - no problem, they were happy to assist us; and we were allowed to check out later on a Thursday, when things really get busy in South Beach.

9. We were so happy with the space, and joked that we would give up our little apartment in NYC happily for the studio we were staying in.

10. I also found a great wine shop on 5th and Washington that would deliver to the hotel, so we avoided the $25 happy Hour drinks and took our wine to the rooftop each night to watch the sun set.
