8. While Kauai is a more beautiful island, if you are looking for a totally relaxing experience with more stable weather, I don't think you can do better than the Kona side oef the big Island, and we would return here in a heartbeat based on the atmosphere and accommodations.

9. They do host many large events here but that doesn't seem to really effect your enjoyment of the place, there were several big groups which were there simultaneously during our visit with no ill-effects.
