2. What is up with the ground floor rooms? Does the Fairmont hotel start at level 2 or 3? Is the ground floor managed by a different company like best western?Other than that we had a great stay.

7. My husband and I also had a couple's massage in an oceanfront lanai, which were not the best massages, but the experience of being by the ocean while getting a massage was unforgettable.

8. All in all, the Mauna Kea golf course was the best course we played, but it is definitely a punitive course--not for beginners.

9. Granted, my review is most likely based partially on how much pleasure we derived from our Hawaiian trip in its entirety, but the Fairmont Orchid definitely played a part in making our first trip to Hawaii our best holiday/vacation ever.
