7. At the Hotel Kia is a nice but expensive Restaurant You have to Try the Clam Chowder at both Mantra and Kia and at Splash you have to try the Keauhou Burger the best Burger i have tasted in a long time.

8. (The other bartenders we met during our stay were really cool) Food - a couple of standouts as far as presentation and taste, but all way over-priced.

9. (When we left for a dinner at Huggos on the Rocks - recommended by hotel staff and best deal we found in Kona - two piece band - keyboard and guitar - and hula dancer right on the rocky beach with great tasting large portions food and drink - make sure it's not Huggos but Huggos on the Rocks).
