4. The positive of the location is that it's super close to one of the best family-friendly beaches - Kahalu'u that offers shallow snorkelling, picnic area, washrooms.

One night we accidentally got locked out on our balcony (child closed the sliding door quickly and had improperly positioned the lock) and after an amusing conversation with a passing guest, who kindly went to the lobby to seek our rescue, maintenance staff showed up within seconds to let us back in.

10. We called down to ask to be moved which they did into a second room still on the second floor but now in between BOTH pools full of screaming kids and perfectly positioned so that everyone going down the slide could look right into our room.
