2. The carpets were horribly stained, there were no fitted sheets on the bed leaving the dirty mattresses completely exposed, mold on the shower curtain, broken tiles in the bathroom, our sink was cracked all the way down the middle, the port-a-crib was filthy.

3. - The shower had mold in it, and the trickle of water representing the shower stream was alternating between scalding hot or freezing cold (causing the showering experience to become an aerobic activity of sorts, so there was that side benefit).
