2. Our last experience at a Kimpton in SF (which now I just realized I never wrote about) was horrible and so un-Kimpton like that I stopped staying at Kimpton, at least till this visit to Portland.

3. I was able to get half our room cost refunded through priceline which I didn't feel was enough to make up for the horrible stay we had and how filthy the room was - especially consider we were traveling with a 5 month old baby - it was just unacceptable.

4. The carpets were horribly stained, there were no fitted sheets on the bed leaving the dirty mattresses completely exposed, mold on the shower curtain, broken tiles in the bathroom, our sink was cracked all the way down the middle, the port-a-crib was filthy.

7. The bedding was horrible in the hotel, The hotel tries to pull off the botique feel, with the micro tell circa 1962 beds and bedding.
