1. Do you like a space that isn't 'matchy-matchy', has an official welcoming dog (but no dog noises or smells in the halls or rooms), and offers a complimentary (mostly local) wine and beer reception in the quirky yet comfortable great room every afternoon? Then make this your Portland home.

10. Dogs everywhere, but their owners keep them well tethered and somehow the staff manages to keep everything fresh - there is no 'dog smell' that we were aware of.
