1. They welcomed us weary travelers with over 2 hours of flight delays, provided a list of breakfast restaurants that open early enough for our pre-race protein needs, and made certain when we walked in the door all soggy and tired we were greeted with congratulations and smiles.

6. There were a few annoying things for us - delayed check-in (room not ready on time) and the room was arranged in a strange manner (hard to watch TV from bed because of how narrow the room was) but these things were far outweighed by 1) location 2) overall decor of hotel (super stylish.

7. Our flight was delayed and we didn't get to check in to the hotel till 2 am, but we were met by a friendly, smiling face, who told us that he would extend our check-out as late as 2 pm if we needed to sleep in.
