The only
negative
comment I would make was that hotel guests were expected to walk through the restaurant and wait in line to be seated with people who had come in off the street.

I don't have any
negative
s aside from the doorman didn't see me fast enough when I first approached the front door, so I had to open it myself, then he was apologetic.

Even though we do not have a pet, they are welcome as guests and we have never seen a

The only
negative
aspect of this establishment is that it is downtown Portland and extremely crowded streets.

My only
negative
was the room noise as we were in an exterior room and the window glass must be single paned as it sounded like the street car was in our room every time it went by.

The only
negative
i can think of was that the pullout sofa was kind of hard to open, but really, if you gotta reach that far to complain, you know you've found something good.

The only
negative
is the rather expensive $33 overnight valet parking under the hotel, however it is the only garage I've ever seen with velvet curtains, a mirrored ceiling and detailed tile floors.

The only
negative
s were the difficulty to find a 'potty spot' for the dog and the expense of valet parking and no choice in transporting our own belongings to/from the room.
"This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Portland, with the bonus of being pet friendly! "
