1. There are only 2 things missing from my experiences at the Monaco that would prevent me from issuing an 'excellent' rating.

2. There was a tiny tiny issue with something in my room and not only did they fix it immediately, they went overboard to be sure I was happy by even providing an additional amenity.

3. The next morning upon check-out (well, it was 1:30pm - they even allowed for late check-out), we informed the front desk about the issue, just so they could be aware, and after apologizing profusely, we were given complimentary parking.

7. I was on the 7th floor (there are 9 in total) but noise was still an issue.

10. While my personal preference is not to have very loud music playing (and I do feel that the piano playing was very intrusive and loud) that is a personal preference as I have issues with certain noises, and I don't feel my personal distaste should ding a hotel for something that most people seemed to enjoy.
