1. room was comfortable and peaceful, away from the bustle of Bourbon Street - unfortunately only had a view of a wall but as we were there to see the sights it did not matter.

7. unfortunately because of the first room we were given and the condition of it, it felt like the hotel was all about its exterior appearance and underneath the surface nobody really cared that much about the rooms, the guests or the quality of stay.

8. The technician came up and was very friendly and sympathetic and said there wasn't a problem with the unit it was just that we'd unfortunately been put in the room by the conditioning system.

9. unfortunately, the girls at the front desk were only there for part of the day and when they leave a very surly man, who is actually the lead desk attendant, and another not so friendly guy take over.
