1. loud housekeepers that try to scream as much as possible in the hall to wake you up in the morning.

2. (act of congress trying to find ice) The next morning there were people camping out on the floor just down from our room, and for most of the late evening it was extremely loud in the hall.

3. I would not necessarily recommend staying here the same weekend as this run, if you want a restful, quiet weekend, as many people were loud coming in and out of the hotel after a day and/or night in the French Quarter.

Also, while located in the French Quarter, it is a slight walk to the main attractions (the waterfront, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, Jackson Square, Canal Street), BUT, it is very quiet and the French Quarter can be quite loud - I'm glad we did not stay in our original choice on Bourbon - the noise would go 24/7.
