However, compared to its bigger brothers in other places, the New Orleans version lacks a certain grandness including no views other than the very top floors, no pool area (there is an endless pool device that closes early) and a layout that requires moving between a 3-story public section and a 9-story private section.

A couple hours later a housekeeping person did arrive with a new towel set (both large and small towels), but differently colored (brown) ones apparently from another hotel (Iberville Suites) that shares part of the Ritz Carlton building, explaining that the lack of linens was because the Ritz Carlton was experiencing 'high occupancy' that weekend.
