I take a nap -- can't sleep and go down to the front desk and ask if they are fully booked (thinking I got the best available -- albeit a
crappy
room).

Not only did they put us up in a
crappy
Residence Inn in the Warehouse District where sirens were heard into the wee hours of the morning, but they caused us to miss our dinner reservations we had made months ago.
