We came into town to run the

and Roll marathon and chose this hotel because it wasn't your run-of-the-mill chain and its great location.

Frenchmen Street down river from the French Quarter is also not to be missed if you like jazz (Bourbon Street bars play nothing but bad live

music so don't go there if you want jazz).
