1. The only downside to this place is the high price tag, but you do get what you pay for here.
"Perfect! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/10/2012 Vote
2. The only downsides this time: fake flowers (come on, rather have no flowers than tacky cloth things) and the main light bulb was dead.
"Close to action, away from the noise " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/22/2011 Vote
3. While it was stunning, was very clean, had a fabulous staff, delicious restaurant, rooftop pool overlooking the city and much much more, the only two downsides I could find were that it was just a tad too far from the French Quarter to walk at night and a little too pricey.
"Gorgeous! And Southern hospitality at its FINEST! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/21/2011 Vote
4. The downside is, as you will see in many of these reviews, that this hotel could really use new beds and new bedding.
"Charming and comfortable. No regrets. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/22/2011 Vote
5. I guess if you are picky, the only downside to the room is that the bedding and colors of the room are a little dated.
"Wonderful stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/31/2010 Vote
6. The only downside is that the bathroom is small, but that was no issue for me.

7. The downside is it is a bit of a walk the quarter (just not right where all of the action is) but completely manageable.
"elegant " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/4/2009 Vote
8. The only downside there is if you have mobility issues or other physical needs, it is a bit of a haul to certain areas.
