1. From the minute you walk in, this hotel exudes New Orleans, From the doormen in tuxedos and top hats to the high ceilings, crown moldings, velvet drapes and overstuffed furniture, it is old style New Orleans.

5. First, with exception to the lobby, the ENTIRE hotel smells like the inside of the USS Kidd -musky, damp, old, moldy.

6. At one point I tried to plug my charger into the outlet behind the bed, and I discovered mold and dust all over the back of the mattress and bed frame.
