Particular issues were a non-working desk phone, the noise and performance of the air-conditioning, the size and positioning of the small and ancient television (and the lack of key channel choices such as Comedy Central) and a bathroom whose size was, I guess, okay in the 1920s but today is outclassed by any roadside motel.
