5. (Can you see where this is going?) Albert - the hotel manager who is supposed to, you know, actually care about the guests - took about 15 minutes to wander out of his office to do me the favor of speaking to him, and then had no idea what the issue was even though Miguel had briefed him on it.

6. The beds and bedding were quite nice, the furnishings maybe a little dated but clean and functional, and the bathroom was nicely renovated if not tiny, but I can't say this was a major issue.

9. Particular issues were a non-working desk phone, the noise and performance of the air-conditioning, the size and positioning of the small and ancient television (and the lack of key channel choices such as Comedy Central) and a bathroom whose size was, I guess, okay in the 1920s but today is outclassed by any roadside motel.
"Vast, gorgeous, lobbies, much less to love elsewhere " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/9/2011 Vote
10. I routinely stay at this historic hotel in downtown los angeles and have never had any issues with bed bugs.
