1. The lobby of the hotel could come off as dated - but its still gorgeous.

2. For us this was a good down town location, Public areas though were a let down, lots of the shops in the Hotel were empty,and generally the whole public areas needed to be brought up to date.

4. We read from some, that the Westin was getting dated, but did not find that, as the rooms were very updated, bathrooms large, bed 'heavenly' as always advertised, front desk modern, staff helpful and professional.

Pros- great public transport access to different buses & metro- good room size- quite helpful concierges- take any of the 4 areas of elevators to access your room - the yellow ones were used in the 'true lies' moviesCon- takes forever to get to anywhere - dated decorWe scored a deal with priceline for this stay.
