1. The facilities are well kept but a little ragged around the edges, chipped paint, a slightly broken lampshade.

2. The new room was much better (the curtains were clean) but there were still chips on the furniture, and the bathtub had an old imprint of anti-slip adhesive (as did the bathtub in the previous room).

10. It was dirty (the carpet was stained, the walls had large black smudges on them, the lounging chair was stained), the paint was chipping, the one cabinet was missing the "pull", the toilet flusher was cracked and therefore sharp.
