2. Another tip: The number 5 Sprinter bus from the Charlotte Airport (CLT) will take you directly into downtown and drop you off literally in front of the Omni Hotel in the event that you would like to avoid a car rental.

4. My stay was pretty horrendous (this repeated itself the next night - we'd tried to move but were told the hotel was at capacity), but this could easily be avoided by requesting a higher floor that does not face College St.
