1. He gave us walking directions, subway directions, and suggestions of another place to eat when we wanted a less expensive breakfast option than the hotel's fine French restaurant Brasserie Jo (which is wonderful).

2. This time stayed 3 nights at my expense and very well worth it, from the speedy, friendly check in, one of the concierges took us and out bags to the room and gave us lots of info.

3. Bar very expensive as you would expect for city hotelDont attempt to carry an 18 pack of beer from suppermarket through the lobby to the room to bring home to UK as you are not allowed to carry beer without it being covered with carrier bags.

9. Surely that's crazy in this day and age?Ludicrously expensive wine in the hotel bar but that's not uncommon in US hotels and wouldn't put me off returning.
