8. Having stayed at numerous hotels in Boston, I believe that the Onyx is overpriced for the size of the rooms and lack of a separate restaurant from the bar.

9. A few tips: One way to avoid the tempting but seriously overpriced goodies in the mini-bar is to shop at the 7 Eleven half a block away on Causeway Street.
