The hotel is quite new so it isn't
dingy
, but our room was very small (the king bed filled the room) and dark.

Drawbacks: the street it's on is a little
dingy
/grungy, and the cross street (Causeway, near the North Station) has some unsavory people at night (there's a liquor store).

However the area appears to be very scary late at night and
dingy
surrounding does not help.
