1. I would avoid the West Wing (the original tower), very dark and dingy.

2. In all the hotels/casinos and even outdoors on the Strip, there were tons of smokers and no way to avoid breathing second-hand smoke.

3. We made use of the airport check in which is a great way to avoid long line ups at registration and although there was a note in our room advising that there may be issues with construction we experienced none.

5. Also Deuce stop not far outside - but would recommend avoiding the Deuce on busy days as it's a waste of vacation time.

6. My recommendation, avoid any room in the West Wing for the next 12-18 months; stay at The Signature, MGM Tower 2 with walkway link to MGM Grand Casino and Bars.

7. This is the 4th time out of 5 visits to Vegas we have stayed at the MGM, what can you say, perfect location, great rooms, (go for the higher levels to avoid the external Air Con ventilator noises, which can be rather annoying, if you are a light sleeper), that apart, it's ideal.
