1. The restaurant/bar on the top floor called 'The View' is indeed a stunning view, especially at night but the service was horrible - especially considering the expense.

2. Drinks are not cheap, but for a view alone are well worth the extra expense.

5. Some of the negative things that have been written about this hotel are true in that: 1) it is fairly expensive (but what decent hotel in San Francisco isn't?); 2) it is a standard full service Marriott property and all that goes with that (nice, but unremarkable); 3) the rooms are beginning to look a little tired; and 4) the Concierge Lounge (for you Gold and Platinum members) is average, at best.

9. There are some good value outdoor parking options at 5th and Folsom and 5th and Howard, and a less expensive inside option at the Moscone garage; so if you're willing and able, walk a couple of blocks and save some $$.
"A good choice " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/13/2011 Vote
10. Not easy to find at first, and very expensive to park your car, $54 for valet parking, not cheap.
