1. Upon entering the room I started hearing noises and within 5 minutes it was unbearable.

The rooms are gloomy, dated and noisy (at least mine was - suggest to avoid rooms on the 'low rise elevator' floors - I was on 7th floor with view of ugly utilitarian rooftop/courtyard, and garbage trucks that made nightly pickups at 3:30 am, complete with lots of noise (woke me even with earplugs).
