4. the most annoying staff member was the one most overpaid: $35 for valet parking is excessive, but not out of the ordinary in higher-priced hotels, but this guy was never there to answer the phone, was never ready to take the car when i drove up, to the point of my arriving after a morning workout at the Y (the hotel fitness center is barely worth the name), stepping out in the freezing cold, only to have the guy ignore me and go chat up his limo-driver buddy lollygagging behind me in the lot.

9. There was no parking attendant, or at least, nowhere for him to park my car (in SF this is really annoying), there was no way to get cash on site (had to go to the neighboring shopping center, They have no room service to speak of (we resorted to getting pizza from a local shop) and overall, the employees looked clueless.
