1. It was quiet, no external noise, and although it was a 25 min walk to Union Square, we didn't complain.

4. The balcony is shared by another room, so it's not optimal for safety and it did allow a noticeable amount of city noise, even on a higher floor.

6. Although at first I was worried that we weren't in the heart of things, it turned out to be very easy to get around San Francisco and I was pleased we were a little away from the noise of Fisherman's Wharf (where we spent a few nights later in the trip).

7. I walked all the day and was very tired at night, so i did not have any problems with noise, but i could hear some traffic noise in the mornig, but nothing that wolud wake me up.
