2. If you're unfortunate enough to get a room that ends in 12 (xx12), you're in for a treat: a nice view of the alley where a man will take out garbage every hour (it's loud), excellent acoustics to hear the ice machine, and the smallest room in the hotel.

4. unfortunately, there were also about 30,000 people in the city for various conferences, which left the hotel prices quite high, and often sold out.

8. I got another big room for a reasonable rate, this time on the third floor--unfortunately it faced north at an office building and I could hear traffic below--next time I'm requesting a higher room.
