1. The rooms smelled terrible (a musty or moldy smell), the air conditioner was loud and rattling, the lock on the door looked as though someone had tried to jimmy it open, the bathroom was not clean (there were literally hairs stuck to the walls.

2. The actual building is old but they entirely remodeled it so it has all things new again but the charm of an older hotel like plaster walls, crown molding, and THICK walls.

4. The lobby and building is gorgeous, it's a historic building and they really preserved all the beautiful moldings, marble, and structure.
