1. Based on others' reviews, I was excited to stay at the Omni on Michigan Avenue, but aside from being safe, clean, and in a good location, it wasn't particularly memorable (except for the loudly-barking dog in a room two doors down; a call to the front desk did nothing to silence the noise.

9. Of note is that even though hotel says that the construction next door is mostly complete (the demolition), it was still VERY loud on our side of the hotel, as workers arrived with jackhammers early in the mornings on week days.

10. (also the doors slam loud that was my only other complaint) They also let you bring dogs too which is nice and unusuall we were watching my brother in laws dog (small 2lbs) and might've had to bring her and they were more than willing to work with us on that.
