1. I could see however that rooms on the Michigan Avenue side of the hotel looking south faced the construction of a RItz Carlton next door.

2. Just really, really good, including sensitivity to the construction happening next door while making room assignments, putting me in my room before check-in time, and being willing to move my original room assignment to a room on a much higher floor based on my preferences.

3. My room on the 19th floor had nice south views of the city; the condo construction next door did not interfere with the view but I was almost to the other corner.

4. We were excited to be on the 25th floor thinking the view would be great, but we could only see a high raise condo building under construction, and the construction noise was disturbing on the one weekday morning that we were there.

5. The rooms facing Huron might be a bit louder (sirens, traffic), but are preferable for their views (I'd avoid the other side facing south, there is a new construction going up) Michigan Ave is just steps away, and the full Near North entertainment is all within walking distance.

6. I had read about the construction going on so when they said they could get us into a room early right away, we confirmed it would be facing the building going up adjacent.
