1. I wasn't paying out of pocket, so I didn't make a big deal out of my issues, but when I come to NYC for leisure, I probably won't stay here until I find some crazy cheap deal.

2. OK, not a big deal, but all the other hotels have people come right out, show you in, take your care, etc.

3. The hotel restaurant was also closed for refurbishment - no big deal really, and the subway next to the hotel is also undergoing refurbishment (presumably for the new WTC site) so we had to walk a couple of blocks for the subway.

5. CONs:- Some construction going on right now, making it somewhat difficult to use elevators-- but that will be done soon, and is not a big deal.

6. Fortunately, the construction noise was very easy to get used to, and it only woke me up once (on the very first night) in our 7 day stay, so what we thought was a big deal at first turned out to be something pretty minor.
