I wasn't paying out of pocket, so I didn't make a
big deal
out of my issues, but when I come to NYC for leisure, I probably won't stay here until I find some crazy cheap deal.

OK, not a
big deal
, but all the other hotels have people come right out, show you in, take your care, etc.

The hotel restaurant was also closed for refurbishment - no
big deal
really, and the subway next to the hotel is also undergoing refurbishment (presumably for the new WTC site) so we had to walk a couple of blocks for the subway.

Fortunately, the construction noise was very easy to get used to, and it only woke me up once (on the very first night) in our 7 day stay, so what we thought was a
big deal
at first turned out to be something pretty minor.

We would have liked to use the refrigerator for our own water or pop, but it was no
