Incidentally my parents were staying in the Radio City apartments, and they were
tiny
compared to what we had.

I travel quite a lot, and usually stay in five star accomodations, this was not five star, but i honestly had no complaints, i do not like
tiny
rooms, and expected that, but the apartment was quite spacious and homely, for ny it was a gem.

Family members stayed across the road at the WaldofAstoria - in a
tiny
but lovely room - but had to pay for everything - including using the phone card.

You won`t find any bells and whistles at this place, but the rather small dour reception, pokey lift and
tiny
hallways hide the real gems which are the apartments themselves.

Then I recently stayed at The Empire - this was OK but ridiculously
tiny
rooms and pathetic bathrooms.

The first time we stayed in hostel accommodation - very cheap - 28 dollars per person per night but very cramped, no closets,
tiny
bathroom and dirty public areas, and a long way away from main Manhattan attractionsThis time we chose the Hospitality House - OK It was more expensive - just over 300 dollars a night for a 2 bedroom/6 person suite, but so so much more convenient and comfortable - and actually much better value for what you got for your money.
"good value, convenient, good for families "
