1. We stayed here end April early May 2012, Our room, 2A faced the street so was quite noisy at night, we did however get used to the noise.

2. Only drawback to mention is that the street noise can be a bit much from time to time but all of us slept very well nonetheless and what can you expect for such a central midtown location? We have had several vacations to New York and stayed in a variety of places in Manhattan, but I think we've found the place we'll be returning to each time from now on in.

3. No noise, just sound of airconditioning outside but you get used to that quickly.

4. As to the street noise we became used to it after one night and there were even ear plugs available.

5. The only downsides we could think of was that the water pressure in the shower was almost non-existant which made it virtually impossible to shower and the street noise at night.

7. Maybe a bit dissapointed, all ok - except too small breakfast facility - and indeed very good value for money, but bit oldish feel and not completely fresh and up to Date rooms with pretty much noise from street below where proper blinds/doble windws would have been appropriate.

9. Only downfalls were the noise of the streets from the bedrooms (we stayed on the 4th floor) while we were sleeping and the pull-out couch had a terrible mattress.

10. Be aware the hotel can be a bit loud at night if you are in the front and on a lower floor; but the hotel provides ear plugs and after a day of exploring New York City you will be too tired to care about the noise.
