1. List of positives:-beautiful decor-exceptional service-quiet room-great rain shower-great additional space with an indented wall & hideaway desk-fantastic complimentary shoe shine -comfy bed with great pillows-great bathroom toiletries-complimentary water-sensational location-delicious rooftop bar with exceptional food -Max light rail stop right outside the hotel-Buses to every corner of Portland just around the corner (Pok Pok for the most ridiculous wings you will ever eat, Tasty & Sons for the most incredible gourmet brunch you will ever have & of course the founding coffee company in Portland - Stumptown etc)Negatives:-tv remote was painful.

4. We had a bit of an incident upon stepping out of our cab with our luggage when some guys bumrushed our cab--with me still inside--which was a little ridiculous, but the hotel can't really help that.

7. With all the ridiculous decorative touches to try to make the place seem very luxurious, getting your shampoo in an envelope certainly does not say 'luxury.

8. My only complaint regarding Departure is that at night they crank up the music to a ridiculously, almost painful level and turn the bar into a 'club.
