3. With the rooftop lounge, there's a bit of foot traffic around the elevators, but it doesn't pose a problem if you want a quiet evening or you can always join the party :-) The bell boys were very helpful and while we didn't spend much time at the hotel, we enjoyed a comfortable stay overall.
"Vogue Meets Comfort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/8/2012 Vote
4. As I said, we were otherwise quite pleased with The Nines and would likely stay there again but this valet problem made us wonder a bit about whether things were slipping.
"Great hotel but a few glitches " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/19/2011 Vote
5. The valet desk claimed that the front desk always called the wrong location and the front desk claimed this was an ongoing problem 'they get busy when there are lots of cars'.
"Great hotel but a few glitches " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/19/2011 Vote
6. On the plus side, the staff are quite sweet (if not able to problem solve) and the concierge service is remarkable.
"Nosiy, inconvenient, hardly luxury " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/28/2011 Vote
7. However, the card readers malfunction frequently so one cannot operate the elevators - the front desk staff and the bell folk acknowledged this is an issue - however, a luxury hotel ought fix the problem and not just acknowledge that is has been an issue;(3) the hotel offers turn down service.
"Nosiy, inconvenient, hardly luxury " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/28/2011 Vote
8. However, i did read the negative reviews and contacted the hotel ahead of time to ensure I didn't have the same problems.

9. Parking price is ridiculous, so we parked on the street without any problem.
"Loved The Nines " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/17/2011 Vote
10. The other problem we encountered is that the top-floor nightclub is *very* popular on the weekends with local 20- and 30-somethings.
"Superior hotel with a couple of minor quirks. Fantastic management & staff. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/6/2011 Vote
