Water stains on all ceilings; visible mold everywhere; wallpaper peeling off; drywall patch jobs that were never painted; ripped carpets; stained carpets; lights in room that don't work; outlets in room that don't work; a room a/c unit that worked but leaked so much water that the carpet was soaking wet; a supposedly nice view of the ocean but could not see due to white, salt-water filmed windows; a tv with no ESPN (world cup time) where every other channel was fuzzy and unwatchable; a double-bed that was less comfortable than the one I slept on in summer camp in the '80s; a shower that had a fixed glass panel on only half of the shower with no shower curtain so you had to huddle right up the the showerhead least you'd flood the bathroom floor.
