1. We were on third floor and could hear some noise from the pool and restaurant on the Lani, but the room itself was well insulated and the resort was quite at night so never an issue.

2. The suit was very spacious and well maintained, (#605 - partial ocean view) and the common areas where built in a open plan/space making it very attractive, even though the noise level at some times was a bit high.

3. Normally this noise would not be a big deal as we aren't in our room much during the day while on vacation, but this was a day where we needed to make some calls to rearrange travel plans.

4. The distraction was during the day, when we would typically be out of the room doing something, and the noise from the elevator renovation was quite loud (our suite was the first one next to the elevator).

5. Lastly, constant maintenance work or construction (I'm still not sure what it was) throughout the day that caused a lot of noise that can be heard in the room.

7. There is no work being done on weekends and on week days the noise we heard was an occasional brief drilling.

8. While there was a very small and irregular amount of renovation noise the Ko construction project was hidden away behind a bamboo wall at the hotel end of the adult pool.

9. Even if you could ignore the noise, both in the room, and around the 'adult' pool and the closed-off areas, there are plenty of other annoyances, like threadbare carpet in the halls, half-complete upgrades all around.
