1. We originally booked the city view, but after getting there and seeing the horrible view, we upgraded to the oceanview for $50 a night.

4. Some reviewers said the staff was really rude, that the rooms were horrible, and that there was tons of construction (not sure when they were there, but we didn't see or hear any construction at the Palms.
