1. rough, yellow and black sand on beach, but in a cove, so the water is not quite as rough, but it is still very rocky, lots of lava rock that will bruise and cut you.

ALERT** there beach is no white sand swimming beach** The beach is a white sand black rock mix and does not bod well for swimming as your likely to cut a limb from all the rocks, however if you like to snorkel it is great in the morning before the tide rolls in and the water gets rough and murky.
