1. The A/C unit put out good cold air but it made more noise than one would expect and it took a couple of nights to get used to the constant droning of the fans.

5. I never heard any of our neighbors, but I did notice that the hallway does pick up noise from passing parties.

6. After discussing all of this with the Manager who was sympathetic, we were moved to another similar room on the top floor only to find the lift machinery was above and made more noise than the aircon in the previous room.

8. Why not just move us to a comparable room right away with a quick apology? The maintenance man showed up and confirmed there was in fact an ongoing annoying noise in our room, coming from the elevators (which we had suspected).

9. Then the manager called to graciously offer to move us to another room, which was great, but why waste all this time of our vacation verifying noises? We tried the spa, it was over priced (nearly $300 for a 75-minute massage) and an average massage.
